Yesterday, while sitting outside at lunch with a friend, a white GT-R drove by us slowly. We both admired the car (which is funny, because my friend just bought a Flying Spur, but I digress) right up until we saw the rear end. The license plate... It... Was... PINK. (In recent years, Texas has started offering fun variants of their license plates). It said "GTR [heart] ME".
My buddy knew who the driver was. A chick who's father is loaded. I died a little inside.

He owned a Gran Turismo, but it kinda sucked. He didn't like it when people got into the back seat and scraped their shoes on the back of the front seat. I was personally totally let down by the acceleration.
He proclaimed that the next vehicle will be a Gallardo. I'm trying to convince him to get a 458 instead.

I'm disappointed by all modern Maseratis. They are kept back by Ferrari, who owns them and makes them play second. Tell him the Gallardo is dead and being replaced. If I were looking fr a supercar, I would get a Mclaren 12c. Oh well, life's tough when your Maserati only does 185.

I told him that the Gallardo was being replaced with the Cabrera. He usually buys the cars that were demos for the dealerships. Yeah, the Mclaren would be pretty nice (there are a couple driving around my 'burb, they're easy on the eyes), but I'd prefer him get the Ferrari. I love the stinking Italia.
